March 2005: Dr Dave Rooney to give keynote speech at the Knowledge Management in Asia Pacific conference. "Rooney argues that the fundamental generative and diffusion mechanisms for knowledge and, therefore, knowledge economies reside in such things as culture, values, creativity, broad-based education, communication and social functionality. However, given the unbalanced technocratic orientation of Knowledge Policy discourse, he warns that there is a danger of knowledge economies becoming anti social and anti intellectual."
September 2003: Business School researcher receives Research Excellence Award. "UQ Business School's Dr Philip Graham was one of seven University of Queensland researchers honoured at a gala ceremony held last week as part of the 2003 UQ Foundation Research Excellence Awards for early-career researchers".
