Contributing to ACRO

ACRO welcomes all donations of cultural material but cannot guarantee that all contributions will be included in the public database. We have three main criteria for hosting material:

1. You are be the copyright owner and willing to warrant that the material you submit is yours.

2. You should be willing to license your works under a Creative Commons license that allows reuse.

3. The material must meet network usage policies set by the University of Queensland.

We have a high quality digitising lab for video, audio, and photography. In many cases, people have contributed analogue media and we are happy to digitise it. If you are on the Aarnet network, you can upload material via the network to ACRO. If you wish to do so you will need to send and email requesting an upload account.

If you have analogue material you think would be useful for people and that you would like to be digitally preserved, please send an email to our staff to arrange delivery amd digitisation.

For funding bodies: ACRO is happy to discuss any funding and research partnership opportunities. If you would like to become a funder of ACRO, please do not hesitate to contact us.
